Shoppoint Rewards Terms of Service

1. Introduction

‍1.1. These Shoppoint Rewards Program Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in and use of the Shoppoint Rewards Program ("Program"). By participating in the Program, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

‍2. Eligibility and Membership

‍2.1. To use the App and Services, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By using the App and Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
2.2. To access certain features and benefits, you may need to sign up for a membership with Shoppoint. Membership tiers may vary, and your access to features may depend on your membership level.
2.3. By signing up for a membership, you grant Shoppoint the right to send you messages related to your membership, including updates, offers, and promotions.

‍3.1. Shoppoint offers different membership tiers with varying benefits and privileges. Your tier is determined by your activity and engagement with the App and Services.
3.2. Membership tiers may include: Bronze Member, Silver Member, Gold Member, Diamond Member, Platinum Member
3.3. Each membership tier has its own set of benefits, including but not limited to faster receipt verification times, higher cashback rates, and exclusive offers.

‍4. Earning Points

‍4.1. Point Accumulation: Members can earn points ("Points") by engaging in various activities on the Shoppoint platform. These activities may include, but are not limited to: Scanning and uploading valid purchase receipts. Completing specific in-app challenges. Making eligible purchases and payments through the app.
4.2. Point Values: The value of Points and the activities that earn them may vary. Shoppoint Rewards reserves the right to determine the Point values and eligible activities.

‍5. Redemption of Points

‍5.1. Cashback Rewards: Points can be redeemed as cashback rewards ("Cashback"). Cashback can be used to make purchases within the Shoppoint app or for payment transactions, subject to Shoppoint Rewards' policies.
5.2. No Transfer of Cashback: Cashback cannot be transferred to other members or external accounts. It is for use exclusively within the Shoppoint app.
5.3. Cashback Availability: Cashback earned in a specific month becomes available for redemption at the end of the following month. This policy aims to increase cashback savings and make them more valuable.

‍6. Cashback Usage

‍6.1. Payment Transactions: Cashback can be used to pay for eligible transactions on the Shoppoint platform, including but not limited to in-app purchases, bill payments, and more.
6.2. Purchase Transactions: Cashback can be used to make purchases of goods and services offered on the Shoppoint platform. Cashback usage is subject to Shoppoint's policies and guidelines.

‍7. Receipt Verification and Analysis

‍7.1. Shoppoint reserves the right to verify and analyze purchase receipts that you scan using the App. Verification times may vary based on your membership tier, ranging from 3 days for Platinum Members to 7 days for Bronze Members.
7.2. Receipt information may be used for analysis to improve services, provide personalized offers, and enhance the shopping experience.
7.3. Fast-Tracking Receipt Verification: Some membership tiers allow fast-tracking of receipt validation times by participating in rewarded ads. This feature is subject to availability.

‍8. Program Policies

‍8.1. Abuse and Fraud: Shoppoint Rewards is committed to maintaining the integrity of the Program. Members are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent or abusive behavior, including but not limited to: Creating multiple accounts for personal gain. Submitting fake receipts or engaging in fraudulent activity. Attempting to exploit the rewards program.
8.2. Changes to Program: Shoppoint Rewards reserves the right to change, modify, or terminate the Program, including Points values, rewards, or any other aspect of the Program, at any time without notice.

‍9. Messaging and Ads

9.1. By participating in the Program, you agree to receive messages, notifications, and promotional content from Shoppoint, including programmatic and tailored ads. Ads are optional and not mandatory for earning rewards but necessary for us to remain a sustainable rewards platform.
9.2 Do not abuse or try to game the ads systems as this can lead to permanent termination of your membership.

‍10. Termination and Disqualification

10.1. Shoppoint reserves the right to terminate or suspend your participation in the Program and access to the App and Services if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

‍11. Data Management and Protection

11.1. Shoppoint adheres to data protection standards, including the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is collected and processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

‍12. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

‍12.1. Participants in the Program agree to indemnify Shoppoint and its associates and hold them harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from violations of these Terms.
12.2. Shoppoint and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, special, exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Program.

13. Governing Law

‍13.1 These Terms and the Shoppoint Rewards Program are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
